Option 2: One Day Retreat + Six Month Follow-Up

Needs Assessment: (Same as the two options outlined in Option 1).

Within 4 weeks of the actual retreat date: Mark will facilitate the finalization of specific retreats goals/content with key professional staff and board and/or retreat leaders. Typical goals for one-day retreats include: clarifying goals, roles and responsibilities, relationships and processes; team building, examining/revising the mission statement; and handling board members/leaders/staff members who do not honor their commitments

Early on in the planning process, Mark will request and review current copies of your organization’s bylaws, selected programmatic marketing and PR materials in order to get a clear picture of your agency.
Following the initial one day workshop, Mark will contact key lay and professional leadership to follow-up on all agreements.
This option includes six monthly calls/emails with leadership/staff and to keep the process/agreements/projects moving along and to monitor progress.

A follow-up board/staff workshop will be held within six months of the initial retreat. The day-long training workshop will examine a specific and pressing board/governance issue and will also serve to follow up on agreements/assignments made at the initial retreat. Common goals for six month follow-up sessions include: the above, plus more specific training and implementing board governance issues, recruitment of board members, separating of difficult board members and problem solving/decision making processes. (Client may also elect to use the time for individual coaching of key professional staff members or lay leaders.)

Financial Commitment: Financial Commitment: Call or email for current prices.. This fee is inclusive of all costs except transportation/hotel.

A deposit is requested to begin the process and to confirm and hold your dates.
