Why might I/we need your services?

Every organization, and individual, at some point could benefit from professional third-party assistance. It can be as simple as offering an ‘outsider’s view’, serving as a sounding board, providing a guideline or path to achieving a goal or a bit more complicated, in helping to sort out difficult committee structures and personal grievances. What can I/we reasonably expect to achieve?

Of course, in any process, the more one puts into a program the more one gets out. Zalkin Training and Development will provide the materials and structure needed to get on the right track. You will come out of the sessions armed with a resource of valuable information and instruction – often with interactive and participatory experience from the program itself. Continued success and self-confidence will be achieved through commitment to the program following the sessions with ZTD. Forward progress is made with every step!

How much time will it take to complete my/our goal(s)?

That, of course, depends on your goal(s) and how much time you have to invest. Certain training workshops may be completed in a day or two, whereas, board retreats or multi-faceted situations may require more time. We are happy to discuss your specific needs and determine what is right for you.

How much will it cost?

Obviously, costs vary depending on whether you book a workshop, a board assessment or decide to engage in a coaching relationship. For coaching, clients purchase blocks of time. Training workshop fees include preparation, customization, material fees, assessment tools and travel/hotel. Please contact the office for specific information on these fees.

Are there discounts available if we decide to purchase training and coaching services from ZTD?

Absolutely! If you want to book a training program or board/staff retreat, you will save money when coaching services are bundled with the training or retreat. Please contact us for specific details.

Where will the sessions take place?

Training workshops/board retreats are usually held at hotels, resorts or at your site. Most local coaching clients come to my office for our sessions. Out of town coaching sessions are held via phone and heavy use of e-mail. (Local clients can also elect to use phone sessions - after an initial face-to-face meeting).

Who else should be involved in the process?

In the case of coaching, it may only be the client and coach. If your organization is paying for the coaching services, your immediate supervisor may want to attend the initial session to outline boundaries, confidentiality and the entire process. For the finalization of the objectives for training workshops and retreats, we recommend that key people be invited to shape the agenda. This encourages participation, involvement and ownership.

How long has ZTD offered training and coaching services?

ZTD has been offering training and coaching services since 1985. Our workshops and training programs have been presented throughout the USA and in Southeast Asia. We estimate that over 37,500 people have benefited from our workshops and coaching services since 1985. Plans are in the works to deliver training programs in Shanghai, China in 2006.

Does ZTD offer a guarantee?

Yes! We want you to be satisfied with our interactive, participant-centered workshops and our professional coaching services. If you are not pleased, we will either schedule a re-do or the program is free! If it is a coaching relationship, your fees will be fully refunded.
