Mark
W. Zalkin, M. Ed., MSW
Principal Trainer and
Coach
Mark W. Zalkin,
M. Ed., MSW, is the principal trainer and coach with Zalkin Training & Development,
a Denver, Colorado, based management/leadership training and coaching
organization. Since 1985, over 37,500 people in business, industry,
government and non-profit organizations have benefited from Mark's
training and coaching services.
Mark has served
as an adjunct professor at the University of Denver where he taught
a graduate course on building high-performance teams. Since 1992,
he has served as a visiting lecturer for The Civil Service College
of Singapore's Institute of Public Administration and Management,
as well as Singapore Airlines' Management Development Centre. Mark
currently is an adjunct professor at Denver’s Regis University
where he teaches a leadership coaching course in their Master’s
in Non-Profit Management degree program. He has also taught courses
for the University of Colorado at Denver, the University of Denver's
Center for Management Development and for Arapahoe Community College
in suburban Denver. Mark is a frequent presenter for numerous local,
state and federal government agencies. He presents workshops and
lectures throughout the USA.
Mark holds B.M.E.
and M. Ed. degrees from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois.
His second master’s degree is a MSW degree in group dynamics
from Yeshiva University's Wurzweiler School of Social Work, New
York City.
Before the establishment
of Zalkin Training & Development, Mark spent over 13 years
as an executive and manager with organizations in Los Angeles,
Omaha and Denver. His actual hands-on experience, coupled with
his education and training, has proven extremely helpful to clients
and workshop participants. Mark's coaching services and training
programs are characterized by his ability to stimulate and motivate
clients and participants through his sense of humor, sensitivity
and infectious enthusiasm.
